Chase has announced their Chase Freedom quarterly bonus categories for Q1 2019. You start enrolling from Dec 15th until Mar 14th 2019.

Chase Freedom Q1 Bonus Categories:

5% Gas Stations (Normally it includes Wholesale Gas purchase as well)
5% Drug Stores (Some stores sell gift cards like amazon, department store, restaurant gc etc)
5% Tolls

It’s not that enticing other than the Gas. Glad that few drug stores sell certain gift cards, but it’s always a hassle to get gift cards for an anticipated purchase.

Well, getting 5% on Chase freedom for up to $1500 purchase earns 7500 Ultimate Reward points. When this is combined with Chase Sapphire Reserve, gives great value for travel redemption.
