Chase Freedom Unlimited has a targeted promotion of 5% Cash Back on monthly bills. You’ll earn 5% total Cash Back rewards for each $1 spent, on up to $2,000 in total spend on combined purchases in the reward categories of monthly bills such as Utilities, Insurance, Phone services and Cable services. As part of this promotion you will get 3.5% additional Cash Back rewards on top of the 1.5% Cash Back rewards earned on each purchase.

This promotion is better than the quarterly Chase Freedom card considering its limited to $1500 purchases, whereas this has a limit of $2000. So you will earn 10,000 points if you spend $2000. You will also need to Activate this promotion, similar to Chase Freedom quarterly promotions.
